About Me
For a recent graduate, I have plenty of experience, so I can ensure you that you are in safe hands! I realised marketing was the industry for me in my first year at university by creating effective and engaging digital marketing and destination marketing strategies. Once I started really enjoying marketing, I thought it was time to get some real experience so I volunteered at a Heritage Centre in Sheffield. This was a fantastic experience and I learned an abundance of skills in social media marketing including how to complete a competitor analysis and develop a social media strategy that aimed to increase wedding bookings.
My placement year was at Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council as Marketing and Communications Assistant. In my year working in this role, I was able to specialise in social media management, writing, email marketing, and content marketing. I also ran my own campaigns, and provide support at large scale events such as the Tour de Yorkshire. Although these were the areas where my strengths lie, I am always willing to try and learn something new in the world of digital marketing! Using the skills that I have developed from these fantastic opportunities, I aim to help more businesses to excel and reach their full potential online.

I'm a globetrotter - for as long as I can remember I have been hooked on the idea of travel. I love exploring cities, laying on beaches, learning about cultures, and trying new cuisines. I made it my mission to visit 22 countries before I was 22 and did exactly that!
I decided to specialising in helping travel and tourism businesses to thrive because I have studied this subject for three years at university. All marketing experience learned during university was related back to travel and tourism businesses, so this is where my expertise lies. I have become globally, socially, and ethically aware of contemporary business environments around the world. |
